THETA BURN is a single-player options-trading arcade game. You get a fictional ticker, a hand-authored option chain, and a candle whose body is the time value left in your position — every day you hold, it melts a little more.
The whole game runs offline on your device. There is no account, no broker, and no real money anywhere in it.

No. Every ticker, price, option chain and outcome in the game is generated
procedurally and ships inside the app. Tickers use a SYN: prefix
(for example SYN:WVSC) specifically so they cannot be confused with,
or mistaken for, any real listed security.
No. There is no brokerage connection, no cash prize and no cash-out of any kind. The in-game bankroll is a score. It cannot be purchased, refilled, revived or exchanged for money or goods.
Yes — the core game is fully playable offline, with bundled rounds included in the app. Optional free bonus rounds can be downloaded and cached for offline play. An internet connection is also used for Apple and RevenueCat product information, purchases, restoration, subscription status and purchase analytics. See our Privacy Policy for details.
No. Open the app and play. There is nothing to sign up for.
No — and this is worth knowing before you delete it. Because there is no account or server copy of gameplay progress, your bankroll, collection, streak and statistics live only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them permanently, and they cannot be recovered.
Purchases are the exception: those are tied to your Apple ID, so Restore Purchases in Settings brings them back on any device signed in with the same Apple ID.
No. THETA BURN does not provide investment advice, trading signals, or recommendations about any real security. It is a game built around simulated instruments, intended for entertainment and for building intuition about how option time value behaves.
Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore purchases, or use the same link at the bottom of the Store sheet. You must be signed in with the Apple ID that made the original purchase.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by the app. Open the iOS Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Lesson packs are one-time purchases and are not subscriptions — there is nothing to cancel.
